A Special note of Thanks
There are certain people in my life that without their love
and support I would not be where I am today.
First,
my husband Ed for allowing me the time needed to walk through
this journey. He has stood proudly by my side and assisted
me in every aspect toward my future goals. For showing so
much compassion, patience and understanding towards all of
the canine companions that come into our lives, thank you
so very much, with all my love.
Next, my children Eddie, Amy and Heather, have helped to
love and care for all of the four-legged friends that come
to us. You have all been such an important part of their
lives, whether they have a permanent place in our home or
have moved onto another loving family. Thank you for being
such loving, patient and tolerant children to all of gods
creatures. I love you all very much.
My parents, Dick and Sandy Johnson have nurtured my compassion
towards animals as a child. They raised me to have patience
and compassion for all beings, and support me even now by
offering themselves as a safe haven for those canines that
otherwise would not have had a life. A brief paragraph is
simply not enough, so in short, thank you for a wonderful
life, family and always being there, I love you.
Our neighbors and friends Janice and Russell Wensel, are
the most kind, selfless and loving people. Thank you for
everything you do, including your assistance with the rescues.
Dick and
Cheryl Jagger Williams, Annie Palmer and Walt Jagger - their never-ending
achievements with Border Collies are phenomenal. How fortunate
I am not only in having them as mentors, but also to refer
to them as my friends.
Lynn Mitchko, Thank you for your friendship and helping me
to achieve my future goals, Cody included.
Dr. Keith Dorton and Beth Dorton. Doc, We appreciate your
keeping all of our canine companions healthy. Beth, thank
you for your wealth of knowledge and experience that you
so readily share.
For all of those who have either adopted a rescue, or have
as a member of their family a SheBaa Border Collie, we appreciate
you for being a part of our extended family.
